Mela Basics was created to bridge a missing gap in the market place,  I felt we have not been represented well when it came to showcasing our cultural prints on items. The importance of purchasing items for our little ones that look like them is of a essences. When I was on the hunt looking for swimming suits for my little one and couldn't find what I wanted. I wanted to understand why I couldn't find what I was looking for. Was it because the demand not there? Was it because the need not there? Or is it not really a big deal? Well instead of trying to find the answer I started Mela Basics. I knew the time was now, and I hope you guys love what I have created and come on this journey with me.
